Dr. Mark teaches both live and online courses.
We currently offer the online course "Foundations of Wildlife Chemical Capture” which is far more extensive than any live course. Registration is always open. Take this training at your own pace and if you send Dr. Mark questions or comments he will customize the course to meet your needs.
We will be presenting more online courses in the near future.

Every GWR online and live course provides a Certificate of Training that is recognized by virtually every state/federal/private organization.
The expiration for your Certificate is based on the agency or company you are working for. Government and private organizations determine when certificates expire.
There is no universal certification that covers all government agencies and organizations. The only certification programs that exist are within specific state or federal agencies. Each agency determines its own certification requirements and expiration date. Each agency decides what you can do with your certification.
Therefore, when an independent training company gives an expiration date on their certificate of training, the expiration date is not valid. That is why GWR does not include an expiration date on our Certificates of Training, though we recommend that you receive training every three years to strengthen your skills and stay current with tools and protocols.

Yes, GWR courses meet the certification training requirements for most wildlife agencies.
Because Dr. Mark's courses are the most extensive in North America, they meet the needs of most state, federal, tribal, provincial, and private certification programs including the National Park Service and USDA Wildlife Services. Dr. Mark is currently training numerous state, federal, and tribal wildlife agencies and programs with our online course, “The Foundations of Wildlife Chemical Capture”.
If you wish to know if GWR courses address certification for a specific state or national program, contact the program coordinator. Give them a course announcement and the general course outline. GWR will gladly provide you with a copy of these upon request. All of this is also available on our GWR website.
